Island Tourism Festival
For 15 days every year, between December & January
these islands have a festive look.The Island Tourism festival
is organised by the Andaman & Nicobar Administration
where Cultural Troupes & Artists of national and international
staure perform.
Also a part of these festivities are local performers.
Water sports competitions & Nicobari Hodi race are a
treat to watch. An exhibition depicting the progress made
by these islands is woarth a visit. Other not to be missed
attractions are the Floating restaurant, Bay show, Puppet
show, Magic show, Dog show, Scuba Diving, Canoe race etc.

Subhash Mela
(Month: January) Subhash mela is
organised in Havelock Island every year on the birth
anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. It’s
a week long festival filled with cultural programmes.

Vivekananda Mela
(Month: January) Vivekananda Mela is
organised at Neil Island to celebrate the birth anniversary
of Swami Vivekananda. |
Block Mela
(Months: January/February) Held at Diglipur, this festival
highlights the developments that have taken place in the
rural areas and displays the typical rural life of these
islands.
